Bernard Hughes’s piece Does a Firm Perswasion that a Thing is So, Make it So? will receive another performance by the renowned experimental vocal trio Juice at 1.05pm on Wednesday 18 February 2015 at St Botolph-without-Bishopgate Church Hall, as part of the City of London Festival Winter Concerts. The piece was written in 2014 for Juice, who are known for their fresh and exciting vocal music, drawing on classical, world music, jazz, folk, pop, improvisational and theatre. Does a Firm Perswasion… is based on a line from William Blake’s The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, and explores to the full the extraordinary vocal abilities of Juice. Tickets are free.
