Three Choirs Festival

Bernard Hughes’s music will feature in the 2012 Three Choirs Festival, with the premiere of a new work called All Across this Jumbl’d Earth. The piece, for choir with solo baritone with words by the playwright Phil Porter, is based on the Mappa Mundi, the extraordinary medieval map of the world kept on display in Hereford Cathedral, where the premiere will take place. The performance, on Saturday 28th July 2012, will be conducted by the composer, with the solo part taken by Njabulo Madlala.
